Meet Zoey

Zoey or Zoe is Greek for "Life" or "alive."  

Experts on Biblical scripture define "zoe" as eternal life or life that is possessed by a divine being, such as God. In simpler terms, Zoey can refer to anything or anyone full of life. "Full of life" makes sense for a name that many associate with independent, free-thinking heroines.

Zoey is 3/4 Australian Shepherd and 1/4 German Shepherd. She is super intelligent and very loving and loyal to her humans. She loves to be part of the family, which is why she has a regular and permanent place alongside us in our home. She grew up as a puppy with our equally loving kitten Wintson. I'm sure one thought it was a puppy or the other a kitty. Either way, they loved each other devotedly. Now that they are older, they still get along exceptionally well and still sleep alongside each other in my bed with me.
